its to block out advertising clothing brands usually, becos some TV shows refuse to be used as clothing adverts so they wouldnt play the videos otherwise... tho as youve pionted out there are all sorts of logos and brands its leaves. You will see one rapper with his tshirt blurred while the guy next to him has a logo left alone. I dunno whats up with it.

I was flipping through the channels and noticed something peculiar on TV. I ended up catching part of some hip-hop video. As is the case with most of these videos, the logo on the gentleman's shirt was blurred out. I assume that this is done so that I don't walk away thinking that Adidas supports ganstas, or some such. However, here's the interesting bit. Prodominantly featured next to the blurred t-shirt was a crisp, clear Cadilac logo on the front of an Escalade.
Anyone know what to make of this? Is Cadilac an advocate of hip-hop music, or do the rules and laws applied to shirt logos differ from the rules that get applied to hood ornaments? I'm just curious. Anyone got the 411 on this?
